New Security Company

I remember reading the notice about a few break-ins in July and it was pleasant news to hear that a new security firm will take over soon. Good job JMC!

The current security firm has been with us for the most part of the condo's existence. Personally I am amazed they have lasted so long as I feel they are the worst of the lot. Why do I say that? Of course there is a rumor that a certain Resident Association (can't recall exact year) member had something to do with them getting the job. Something smells?

For starters, the previous firms rotated their team on a quarterly or bi-annual basis. I believe this is correct as it prevents 'staleness' or a too familiar cum boring physical situation for the guards.

Secondly it prevents and/or reduces 'hanky-panky'. Trust me as I have seen residents hand them 'goodies' in the form of kuih-muih, etc. Hey nothing wrong with that you may say. My thoughts exactly until I saw the same culprits/samaritans driving in and out of the condo without using the access card. So much for kindness, these buggers are just plain freeloaders. While other decent residents buy/rent parking bays, these dirtbags leech onto the community.
